Comments about Meinl Bass Drum Cowbell Holder:
My son was excited to get this clamp. I bought him a heavy Deluxe Black Beauty Cowbell and different clamp to attach to the drum's hardware, but it did not work. This strong clamp holds his new cowbell tightly and out of the way (because of the L shape) when playing the drums. It has good pads to keep from scratching the bass drum which I was worried about. It is very well made and was the best selection for him.
Comments about Meinl Bass Drum Cowbell Holder:
good choice for medium size bells.
I have a six in. bell and the holder works great. good clamp provides no slip, and no marks
on bass drum hoop. a bigger bell might need something different but with the midsize bell it's great.
get you one of them.
Comments about Meinl Bass Drum Cowbell Holder:
This cowbell clamp is the best on the market. Extremely flexible! Does not move like others. But buy a cheaper one if you don't need it. The cheaper Meinl is great too!
Comments about Meinl Bass Drum Cowbell Holder:
Great Bass Drum Bell clamp. I have a large LP bell and it just works. No reflection on the bell holder but a bass drum located cow bell is tough to pick up when micing drums. To far away from the overheads and the other mics aren't aimed toward that area...
The adjustment options of this clamp allows me to pull the bell just were I want it. going between (2) of my kits, one with an 18" bass drum and one with a 22" is a piece of cake and I can adjust the clamp as needed.
Very Sturdy. I wail on the bell and it stays put
For what it is it's a good price. A few bucks less would be nice...
Comments about Meinl Bass Drum Cowbell Holder:
FINALLY I HAVE SOMETHING TO HOLD MY COWBELL!!! This thing is perfect. The L-Rod can go into the hole both ways, so I can make the bell higher or lower. I just wish it had something to adjust the bell's angle a bit so I could tilt it slightly down. Overall, ay carumba, this thing is good! Great for a drummer on a budget.
Comments about Meinl Bass Drum Cowbell Holder:
This is a great stand for your cowbell its silent it stays in place and it doesn't hurt your bass drum when mounted. I would recomend it.
Comments about Meinl Bass Drum Cowbell Holder:
I think this is a great holder as I can use pretty much woodblocks(as I drilled bigger holes) and cowbells too.The only drawback is that the l-rod is so long that when you are doing a drum roll with your right hand or even cross sticking it gets in the way.I fixed this by switching the rod with my Ludwig tom holder rod, same diameter but a bit shorter, than I put the holder on the outside bass drum hoop and fixed the rod so it went inward towards me while I was sitting so now the cowbell stretches over the bass drum rather than from outward. It works great, and it's very sturdy cowbell holder too.Any guitarists or drummers out there in Croydon, Hulmeville, Newportville, Levittown, Bensalem, Bristol, or surrounding area wanna jam look me up at outlawwolf35@aol.com - Rick
Comments about Meinl Bass Drum Cowbell Holder:
I play music as my profession, and I needed a cowbell mount for one of my jazz kits. I wanted to give this one a try because it seemed like a bang for the buck. I was mistaken. It's a nifty little mount, but the tightening wing nut is cheap, and the threads come undone. Worst of all that little chunk of metal is over priced.
