This is amazing

Comments about Meinl Bongo Cajon:

When I bought this item, it was because I was interested in "wood drums" such as the cajon, but didn't want to invest too much money to determine whether or not I liked their sound. This may have been the best $50 I ever spent on an instrument! Seriously, the tones that you can get from this drum are amazing. People have been going nuts when I play it, and asking me about it afterwards. Every note you play cuts through perfectly...there's none of the ringing or overtones created by drumheads that can sometimes make your notes run togeher (especially when mic'd through a system). The one downside: This (as I am finding with all wooden instruments) is harder on the hands than playing instruments with heads. After a long jam session playing this instrument, my hands hurt...and I have been a drummer for a long time, made a living at it, so it takes a LOT for my hands to hurt. Still, for what this baby does, it is TOTALLY worth it!
