I think it's about time that a company consider the seated player for drum percussion and Meinle has done a great job on this stand. It is the perfect height for me to play while seated and this heavy weight stand is really nice. I did have to put some oil on the rivets of the folding legs since it was a little tough for me to open and close but after putting some lug oil on them they opened and closed with ease. This stand won't move when you are hitting the skins on your Bongo.
Every conceivable adjustment is included on this stand.
I beleive the cost is a little high for this but it will last for many years I would think and hope.

A seated player of bongos must use a barstool or something of similar height to simply focus on the bongos mounted on this stand. This stand is more of a supplementary bongo line. The stand is very industrial strength heavy duty. I expect that except for the foam, this stand should easily last a lifetime with minimal causes for concern. Fantastic stand, but get a raised stool if you plan to play the bongos for an extended time.

This is an excellent bongo stand for playing in a seated position. Absolutely sturdy, your bongos are going nowhere when attached to this stand, easy to set up and adjust, and compact and lightweight - surprisingly lightweight for how sturdy this stand is. All hardware is very heavy duty, and this looks and feels like it will last forever. It will hold your bongos at whatever angle you want - it is just like holding the drums between your knees without the ouchies. Can't recommend it highly enough!
