this cymbal has to be the best one for its price range. meinl did a really good job with this series. the ride (i got the 21) is amazing. it has lots of simmering wash over a really amazing ping that is just enough for you to ride through the chorus of a rock song or play through a mellow jazz beat. its a tad too bright but i just bought it and it should mellow down in about two weeks so thats not an issue. it also has a GREAT crash and is perfect for wash riding or for a hardcore song. only thing i regret is getting the 21 version. i wish i had got the 22 because it offers slightly more wash and is darker. overall great product i would have payed 50 more dollars for it. easily the best cymbal for any type of music in this price range. thanks meinl!!!!!

This is a killer ride. I use it as my main crash/ride. Its got a very cutting bell and the bow has a nice wash to it to give it a jazzy feel. When i crash this thing, it sounds like a wall of wash coming at you. Its loud as heck and crashes so so well. It plays like a 22 Byzance medium except it is louder and just a little bit brighter sounding. Same feel, same weight. I definately recommend. And it blends with my 18" AAX explosion crash and 18" AAX china very well. Buy it. You wont regret it.

I purchased this ride about 3 months ago,and I love it it's just about perfect. Theres alot of seperation between the bell sound and the body. The bell is nice and loud,and the the body can also be used to crash on.It can be used for all types of genres,I play mostly metal, but it can be used for any type of genres.And you cant beat it for the price. I highly recomend buying it

I've had this cymbal for about two weeks now, and it's actually very good, especially for the price. I bought it to crash on, and it gives a good sound, as well as a good ride sound.
