Comments about Meinl Djembe Stand:
I have a 14 inch Remo Dejembe. The stand holds it securely and there are several adjustment points to get it into the right height and angle for you. However, I was unable to lower the stand sufficiently to play while seated. There may be a way to accomplish this but without instructions I will need to fiddle with it more to know for sure. Not having instructions was very inconvenient. I looked for instructions on the manufacturer's website without success. I had to search for pictures of it on the Internet to see if I assembled it properly.
I spent a lot of time researching various stands and found this one was the best for the money. It appears to be of good quality and is sturdy.

Got this stand in today, and I have to say, it's a very solid value. Plenty of adjustments, good hardware, and easy to use. Meinl does it again! This stand is a solid addition to your set-up. The only comment on the downside is that is states you can play this sitting down, but not from a drum seat, since it doesn't sit quite low enough. Other than that, it's 100% good to go!

I have tried out many Djembe stands in the last years. The worst was Gibraltar. The best Meinl.Solid, even for very tall people, easty to handle. For all sizes, even larger doumbeks!
