Comments about Meinl Fiberglass Tri-Sound Ibo Drum:

This ibo, while nice looking, is not worth the cost. I returned it in a couple of days. It has no projection; you can barely hear it while playing alone (The only usable sound is from the bottom surface). The drumhead on the side loosened up to the point of being unplayable after one day. Perhaps most importantly, fiberglass is not at all satisfying to play, much less so than a real clay udu, which you can get for much cheaper (and I highly recommend doing so).

Comments about Meinl Fiberglass Tri-Sound Ibo Drum:

Overall good value, sounds great and fast delivery as usual!
Well made and sturdy! I use it on recordings everyday!
Very good quality and feel it is not as delicate as the real clay models!
Overall a good value..Good for novice and experts alike I cannot tell much of a difference between this and the clay models.

Comments about Meinl Fiberglass Tri-Sound Ibo Drum:

Easier for a woman to carry around, compared to a ceramic IBO. Mine was passed around the TUCSON JAZZ SOCIETY members for "show and tell". It was well received by the UDU player and other band members.

    Service and delivery comments:

    EXCELLENT! VERY FAST!

Comments about Meinl Fiberglass Tri-Sound Ibo Drum:

I am an early intervention therapist. I use drums and marimbas with babies and young children to modulate their nervous system - to calm or stimulate as needed, and to promote engagement and focus. I own many udus, and while clay is wonderful, fiberglass is much more durable and practical as a traveling therapist.
