The Mb10 Ride Cymbal has the ultimate balance of bright stick definition with pure tone and glassy ping. The big sized sweet-spot bell offers a penetrating loud sound.
How did Meinl get a totally clean modern sound with no weird overtones? Simple--they started with the right alloy. One that no one else uses. Then shaped it into a cymbal with overlapped hammering and ultra-fine lathing. Add to that their two-step high-polish process. And then you have the warm crisp sound of Mb10, with a mirror-like finish. The Meinl Mb10 series is made in Germany using B10 bronze alloy. Good for metal, punk, alternative, country, rock and pop.
A great cymbal for rock.

Comments about Meinl Mb10 Medium Ride Cymbal:
I used a ride cymbal I literally got for free for like 3 years before saving up enough to buy this. I try to find videos and audio recordings of cymbals being played before I decide if they're what I'm looking for, and when I heard this one, it was immediately on my wishlist. When I got it, it was just what I wanted in a ride: a great bell that pierces through all kinds of racket, a sleek, wishy-washy ping that sings through choruses and overall, it makes for a beastly extra crash! It has a perfect, medium sustain that doesn't ring in your ears minutes after you've played it and for the record, this thing is SO pretty! I love its color and shine. For a moderately-expensive price, I highly recommend this ride over any others that are a couple-hundred-$ more to drummers of all genres!
