      OVERVIEW

The Meinl Pickup Snare Cajon with American White Ash Frontplate is a modern take on this traditional Afro-Peruvian instrument. It maintains the clear, pure sound associated with the cajon and includes features like internal adjustable snare wires. The use of snares is incredibly popular in flamenco music and this cajon allows you to turn a knob to adjust the internal snares or to completely turn them off. Adjustable top corners also allow you to manipulate the cajon™s œsnap. A padded seating surface completes this reliable cajon. Formed from sturdy Siam oak with an American White Ash frontplate, the Meinl Pickup Snare Cajon is in a matte finish. It is incredibly lightweight and easily transportable. The Pickup Snare Cajon is prepared for a variety of gigs and performances with the included DST pickup microphone and A1.2 preamp system. This light and portable system includes a volume control from B-Band, a ¼ output jack, and a reliable 9-volt battery. This easy to use structure does not affect the cajon™s clarity of sound. Its easy amplification greatly decreases the hassle of plugging in external microphones at each concert location. Take traditional Peruvian and Cuban rhythms to another level with the Meinl Pickup Snare Cajon.

Plug it in for electric jamming!

Comments about Meinl Pickup Snare Cajon with American White Ash Frontplate:

This cajon is perfect for an acoustic band! The pick up is a vast improvement compared to the one without it. The subtle varying tones really add to any song. The only flaw may be the lack of a strong snare sound, but I prefer the sound without strong snares.

          Good for the most part

Comments about Meinl Pickup Snare Cajon with American White Ash Frontplate:

This cajon is a nice piece of hardware. I love playing it and the pick up was well worth it. Although I did not like the sound of the snares. I ended up taping the snares into for sections to creat a tighter sound. It is difficult to get that bass out but a little play with the face plate and you will get that sweet spot.
