A little bigger than I expected, which makes it a little awkward to handle. The top is separated by one piece; it is not a separate section. It would be better if there were a separate section to hold other instruments.

I don't like to put out remarks until I use the things that I purchase from Muscianfriends it wouldn't be fair, put this bag holds everthing, besides the bongos which I use JCR Brand and Bells I put my jacket or fill the bag so that I can lay the bell on top it holds everything and it's worth the money, I play in several Salsa Bands in New York City, we like to carry everything, extra skins, extra bells, extra sticks and a small music stand it holds everything and the strap is great I use it in the car, but it works better in the trains it hold everything very well made.

I just ordered this case and let me tell you it is a very nice case. I have the meinl timbale case also and have been very pleased with it so i expected the same from this product. the case is very very nicely padded and it is deep. Yo place the bongo in the case and it has an extra padded divider that fits on top of your bongo which then leaves you room for your cowbells and cowbell beaters. Many bongo players carry multiple bells in different pitches and this one seems to hold at least 3 bells comfortably. I highly recommend this case. It is also less expensive than other brands but in my opinion of higher quality with more protection.
