The Soundcaster Custom Cymbals have a built-in glassy high end that's grounded in a bed of warm tone. They're great sounds for live or studio work, and they're versatile enough for styles including metal, punk, alternative, rock, country, or pop.

I bought a 16" Meinl thin crash a couple weeks ago and I'm absolutely in love with it! I first heard about Meinl through endorsers like Chris Adler, Johnny Rabb, etc. and now I know why so many people have switched to Meinl. I first played a set of Meinl's a year ago and to this day I still think these cymbals are best suited for hard rock/metal genres but they are also very musical. The description of the cymbal gives you some nice titles to go by like "fast" "explosive" but I recommend trying them in person, if possible, to see how subtle and musical they can be. I'm not getting paid to say these things like the pro's. I'll continue to stick with Meinl.

This cymbal is hand-down one of the best, its like having an expensive Paiste cymbal. The guitarist and bass player both have half-stacks and turn them up pretty loud and this cymbal cuts through the sound with ease. This is a very well made cymbal from a very great brand name...GO MEINL!!

Thats the sound of this Thin Crash....When hit it has a "explosive" attack kind of like breaking a sound barrier or something....Its has a similar but completely different sound as to the Zildjian ZBT crashes
