Lightweight, durable, adjustable protection.
The Nomad Fiber Floor Tom Cases have adjustable depth from 15"-24" and the following diameters:
18" case has a 21" diameter.
20" case has a 23" diameter.
22" case has a 25" diameter.
24" case has a 27" diameter.
26" case has a 29" diameter.
28" case has a 31" diameter.
Nomad drum cases are fabricated from lightweight, durable fiberboard with water absorption inhibitors. Reinforced with protective metal hardware, all attractively chromeplated. Contoured injection-molded handles. All handle mounts are double reinforced. One-piece, wearproof strap design, secured with a nonslip toothless buckle. All drum cases are a Multifit design with an extra-deep lid that permits each case to accommodate drums of different heights, so if you change a drum, you don't have to buy a new case.

Sure seem to be a lot of "whiners" out there posing as gigging drummers. Oh well... I've owned a double set of the cases since 2000. By that I mean 2x22" bass drum cases, 2x16" floor tom cases, 2x13" rack tom cases, 2x12" rack tom cases and 2x14" snare cases. I've played with a hard chargin' biker rock band all over Oklahoma and Texas. These "cheap" cases have held their own against many higher prices chunks of plastic. In all my travels, none of the nylon straps have torn, none of the rivets have come loose, none of the metal corners have come loose nor has the case material torn. The only visible wear is on the bass drum cases; where the tuning lugs have worn holes around the edge of one case...the other case shows the same wear plus a bottom seam is wearing away on one cover (the side that doesn't have the straps). I've way gotten my money's worth out of these cases and then some! I'm buying a new one for my new 24" Ludwig Rocker kick I just acquired from eBay. Nomad all the way!

I am very disappointed in the Nomad Cases. They feel so fragile I am sure they will not last very long. The strap system is terrible and not easy to secure once you load the drum. Same for removing the drum from the case. I bought four cases.. bass drum and three toms. I wish I had not. I will end up modifying them to make them easier to use and will try to figure out a way to make them more durable. I have already decided that using the handles alone will only result in their tearing out the rivets which have no backing on the inside of the case.

Case is not as sturdy as I would like, but does an excellent job of protecting the bass drum, and that is what I was looking for.

Was a little dissapointed at the amount of flex in the case. Previous cases I've bought from Nomad were a bit stiffer. Having said that, the case does what it's supposed to. It protects the drum and the price was reasonable so overall I'm pleased with the item.

I would recommend this for most drummers. If you have a very heavy bass drum, you might have to reinforce the handle.
Had these for a few years, and have done 30 or more local shows carrying 22 in. Bass Drum. I have used them, but have been careful not to allow a subwoofer or combo amp to be stacked on top. The wear and tear from this has been 1 loose rivet on the handle, which I replaced with a screw and washer, and a slight crease where I had a smaller bass drum inside and stacked the rest of my 5 piece kit on top, and the case took all of the weight. The only complaint I have is that my bass drum spurs slightly force the sides of the case out and cause some friction when loading in and out. Otherwise, this bass drum case is just fine after 30 plus shows. The rest of my nomad cases are all in real good shape.

I bought these for all of my drums because they were affordable. As soon as I started using them regularly, they started falling apart faster than I could keep up with. I would not recommend these, nor would I buy them again. If you want good solid cases for your drums, go with Gator/Protechtor, or SKB.

i got these cases almost exactly one year ago and have played out maybe 30 times and they are trashed. they can't handle rain whatsoever and the plastic clips are small and cheap. also my drums barely fit with the suspended tom mount and fairly basic bass drum spurs. i went cheap on these cases and was throughly disappointed. if your looking for something to store your drums in or for an occasional trip out of the house they will protect for the most part but for hauling in and out of clubs these will not last.

They look good when you first get them. I bought them about alomost exactly 1- year ago and they are completely falling apart. They are just cardboard and nothing more. The riveted corners on the bass drum case are falling off. ....as well as holes and splitting at the seams. I gig locally about 6 times a month. Not like they're going that far. a complete waste of money!- Spend more and get something that lasts- even cheaper soft cases are better than these!

I can't believe what a cheap piece of cardboard this thing is. I had a hard time finding my husband a case for his bass drum cause of it's size, I ordered Tuxedo bags last year for the rest of his kit from Hulm and Borg and they were excellent, but this thing is a joke. The box it came packed in is stronger. Don't waste your time and money. I'm sending this back.

This "case" is nothing but a storage device! It is not for any kind of touring. It just got here today. I opened the box, expecting it to be like a case a had in the past. And I got let down! They must have changed the material they use. My old set was much better made.If you are just need a case for storing your drums. It might be a good option. But if you need a case for any kind of giging. Save your money for a better case.

I was side swiped in a snow storm with these in my van on the side of the van that got hit and not only were the cases fine but my vintage kit that was in it is in perfect condition. They may seem a bit weak but lemme tell ou i've had the 22" kick drum case for 5 years now and I play out at least 3 or 4 times a month and I have had no problems whatsoever with this case. If you need a case but dont have alot of cash these really are a great option for you.
