great cymbal wrong tone

Comments about Paiste 2002 Bell Chime:

I bought this cymbal to have another " ride" bellThis cymbel is a CHIME as stated. Has a VERY high pitch and rings forever. More like a high triangle but much louder . Which is cool but not for me. When hit the sound isn't loud until a slit seconded later, then it takes over.Very solid cymbal, excellent quality. If your looking for a bell cymbal this isn't it,but is cool if your looking for a loud triangle.Hope this helps ya.

Comments about Paiste 2002 Bell Chime:

I've had this amazing product in my set, which includes 15 cymbals, including this one, for over 5 years. If you are looking for the most amazing effect cymbal that you've ever played this is it. I use it to close out loud songs or sets, by striking it hard and when I do that, the sustain can be heard for a long time, close to a minute, it is loud and piercing and produces a "totally blown away" effect. It blows the Zil-bell away.

Comments about Paiste 2002 Bell Chime:

Well,as some stated, yes,it's different. It is a chime.Could take the place of a triangle around a drum kit.Rings and rings and rings and..... well, you'll get the idea.Interesting sounds depending on where you play it,and how you mount it.I used it on a gig,and struck it towards the end of a song. While it kept ringing, the other players thought something was feeding back, until the guitarist told the bass player..`It's your mic',then turned his mic down.I had stopped it about that time.Haha fun.Kinda high priced though. Also,it's around 6 and1/4".Something to consider if you'd want to try it as the bottom for a mini hat setup. Also heavy, don't drop it.
