Paiste 2002 Paper Thin Crash 16

By Theodrum

from San Diego, CA

This is a beautiful cymbal in sound, texture & appearance. I was never a big fan of the Paiste 2002 series cymbals before as they all sounded a little gongy & harsh to me however this paper thin cymbal more resembles the sound of the old 602's which I was looking for. I mainly purchased it for the studio as the light, articulate sound is perfect for recording but I will try it out on some live shows as well. If you're a hard rocker or pounder, this cymbal is not for you as you would probably crack it. Perfect for all other styles of music. Overall an excellent sounding cymbal and exceptional value too. You will not be disappointed. I will add the 18" Paper Thin to my collection next.
