    • perfect for loud music

Comments about Paiste 2002 Wild China Cymbal:

this thing is a beast. i am in a thrash/punk band and a metal/death/doom band as well and this china works great for both, but..... i would say this cymbal is meant for metal or loud music, when i used this china on my thrash band as accents, it overpowered and cut thru everything and the more heavy the hit is, the more it sings and it does. lol. very responsive due to the upward curve that every china is known for. this particular curve isnt chopped upward which gives this cymbal an advantage to sing when you tell it to and gives it a natural vibration which gives it to sing beautifully. complemented at gigs and has a signature polish that makes it unique. on my thrash band i have the paiste alpha 18 rock china and is perfect for that, it does need a bit of moderate hitting to make it shine. but thats a different review.
back to the cymbal... it's loud, crisp, has a trashy sound enough to make its presence known of a china, it's very high to medium pitch. this piece is my favorite in my set and would recommend it to anyone. i also want to say that the hammering did give it a unique sound compared to my alpha. love it!

    Unique and great

Comments about Paiste 2002 Wild China Cymbal:

This is probably the best metal china in my opinion, it has the volume to cut through the rest of the band while still keeping that musical sound to it. Just hitting it in the store will make the cymbal seem stiff and hard to open up but if you play it behind a kit or a band it really shows its full sound. I have it in 19" and it sounds great with my progressive metal band. Not to mention the reflector finish is always beautiful!
