Ive always used to have the same problem. I would by some Zildjian ZXTs or ZBTs and end up cracking the crashes in a few months. I tried different sticks and set up my cymbals at every angle I could think od but still in a 3-6 month period they cracked cause of my hard hitting style. One day i herd that Jhon Bonham said that Paiste Cymbals was the only kind he couldent break. So i decided to try it out and i baught this set and i couldent be anymore happy. Ive had this set for 5 months and i am happy to say even with the most extreem reapeat thrashing and non stop gigging the crash/ride has held up crack less and the high hats sounds preety good to.If your looking for a incrediable sound go with the higher end paiste brands but for just a drummer who wants a good sound and not have to worry about buying cymbals go with paiste bronze. Personally i think it sounds better then the Zildjian entry leval ZBTs.
I am very impressed with this pack!!! The cymbals are very well made and awesome for the price. I'm in love with the high-hats they give off a great tone and the crash/ride is not bad at all!If you are a beginner looking for a good cymbal pack to start out with and you want something that will last for awhile, then you should look into buying these. They are much better (built wise) than the Zildjian ZBT pack . You won't go wrong with these cymbals. :)
These cymbals are the greatest cymbals with the best sound of any I have ever played before. The crash is full and can project like no other, the hats are the same with lots of full sound and full projection. Its funny because when I got them, I set them on my floor and my brother stepped on the crash and inverted it. It took 4 people to fix it and it sounds incredible to this day with no problems. That goes to show you how tough these are and how they can widthstand a good beating. I reccommend them to anyone who wants a incredible set of cymbals for an incredibly low price.
