I bought this cymbal about a week ago and when I got home I hit about 2 or 3 times and it dented in. I'm a pretty hard hitter which is probably why it did that but this a great sounding cymbal it sounds so good when you integrate it into a fill.
I own this cymbal and it is great. It's not extremely pricey and you get a lot of bang for your buck. Great in all settings and genres. Cuts through beautifully and it's not annoying to listen to. It's just a good little cymbal to own.
I picked this 10" Alpha splash up a few days ago from a local music store and I am very pleased so far. It has a nice bright, glassy sound and has enough volume to hold its own against my other cymbals. The sound works great for fills in any genre you could want. Since I've only had it for a short time, I can't say how long it will last, but I've heard very good things about it. It is a thin splash, so heavy hitters might want to look into the Alpha Metal, Z Custom or something else along those lines. I would definitely recommend this cymbal to anyone who wants to add a little splash to their drumset (sorry, I know it was a bad pun).
