Features:

good solid ding from the bell and musical body hits. sounds good with wood or tips, but tips work best. the edge hit is huge and gongy

Quality:

bullet proof

Value:

could be the best value out there?

Overall:

cheapest bronze ride i could find and it sounds great

the bell and body of this sound better than some of the more expensive lines i've listened to

at first i thought is had too much ringing sustain - so i put some small strip gaff tape on the underside which worked ok,for body hits but somehow this muddied the bell pitch

now i use no tape on it and the 22" really sings on our quiet gentle sections

and for the rest of the set it cuts through 2x guitars bass and keys no problem

its also got good tone and clarity for fast patterns

if you play heavy music and don't need elite priced gear and just want quality, value and good tone i would recommend the 22" rock ride

I needed a new cymbal after I destroyed my 20" Zildjian ZBT and this cymbal blows that one away.  Better value and better sound. The sustain was a little too long for my liking but I just slapped some ducttape on it.  The bell is sick.  Great cymbal for drummers of all skill levels and playing styles.

I have the 22" and this is the best budget cymbal for recording and sounds great for the price! I like it better than my 22" Zildjian A Custom Ride IT'S THAT GOOD! The ping of this baby is perfect for metal and expressive progressive rock/jazz and funk. It's fairly washy, but moongel is the best solution, in my opinion, but I just let it ring. I even crash the thing, sometimes to get my point across. IF YOU WANT THE BEST VALUE AND SOUND FOR THE PRICE, THIS IS THE ONE TO GET! May I also mention, they blend well with other cymbal brands as well. My set up consists of a Sabian Xs20 20" Med Ride (as a crash) 14" Wuhan Traditional Hihats PST5 Rock/Zil A Custom 22" Ping Ride and I swap out a 19" PST5 Rock crash/20" 502 Ride as a crash. Happy hunting for your perfect sound!
