Comments about Paiste Rude Wild Hi-Hat Cymbals:

I have many hats (New Beats, Signature dry crisp). I love the Rude Wils Hats. I think they sound fantastic open. They are LOUD but crisp. I like them better then my Signature but not as good as my New Beats. The New Beats are a little morr focused but the Rudes rock more. I love them. Can't go wrong with Paiste.

Comments about Paiste Rude Wild Hi-Hat Cymbals:

The picture of this hi-hat does no justice to the actual beauty of the manufacturing quality that it possesses. These are the most brutal, crashy, crisp hi-hat I've heard. I agree with the other reviewer that they don't sound very good played loose, but paired with a good drop clutch and set down way low they are amazing. I will only recommend them for the heaviest and fastestof players for metal. If you show up to jazz practise with these baby's you're gonna' get funny looks.

      Loud but lacking

      By Mojo Jojo

Comments about Paiste Rude Wild Hi-Hat Cymbals:

Since I fell in love with the Rude Wild Crashes, I thought I would try the hats. I have to say that they do live up to their billing as Loud and Roaring, but they are not very good tonally in my opinion. I like to play loose hats and these don't really "wash" all that well. They tend to be extremely dry. If you like a loud hat with a heavy "chic" sound these would fit the bill nicely. Personally is I had to do it over again, I would pony up the extra $$$ and buy the Dark Energy's.
