Decent for the money

Comments about PDP 400 Series Double Pedal:

I own the pedal and it is good for the money...it works well in simple double bass beats and the tension on it is very is to work with...does start to wear away fast and is fair for what you pay for it...recomend better drum pedals.

Not the best but gets the job done

Comments about PDP 400 Series Double Pedal:

got this pedal for christmas of 2007 ... strangely got the black version ... my complaints are that-the beaters are alittle heavy and wear away at your bass head ALOT, after long term use joints start to squeek, slave pedal works poorly and is hard to play with ... BUT this pedal is cheap and good enuff quality to get for the money ... good for beginners moving into more complex music, puts up with regular abuse you dish out on it ... the only warning is after a few years expect doing some maintnence with the spots where beaters are put in. they loosen up and they need to be tightend with an allen wrench

Wow...

Comments about PDP 400 Series Double Pedal:

I got this pedal today, and I must say I love it. I have played many of my friend's pearl's, or DW's, and this pedal easily surpasses both of those! the ONLY thing I Dislike about is the beaters. They are quite heavy, therefore they hit your shins and leaves a large bruise. so, GET THIS PEDAL! Also get new beaters 5/5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty good...

Comments about PDP 400 Series Double Pedal:

I bought this pedal about 2 1/2 months ago. I have played alot of my buddie's pedals from iron cobras to pearl 2000's to off brand pieces of crap, but i gotta admit, this one's not bad. The phrase "you get what you pay for" really comes into play here. I got mine in red and it looks really cool against my black drum shells(dDrum defiant set). My only complaints are: the beaters are kind of heavy and hit your shins springs are REALLY tight and hard to adjust!I put some tama beaters on it and now it plays like an angel. The verdict: this pedal is a great value for its price and i would reccomend it to anyone who can play up to about 250 bpm.Great pedal!
