A limited edition iron snare from the masters at DW.
With a shell that was handcrafted by world-famous, Seattle-based drum builder Gregg Keplinger, this DW Black Iron Snare is one of only 50 available. Carefully assembled by DW in their California custom shop, this snare drum offers a lower fundamental note than most metal shells with aggressive attack and dry overtones.
The raw beauty is true to the Keplinger tradition, while DW's state-of-the-art hardware appointments enable a player to dial in their desired tone. This drum features True-Hoops™, True-Tone Snare Wires™, the True-Pitch 50 Tuning system, a MAG Throw-Off System with 3P (3-Position) butt-plate, and DW Heads by Remo USA.
Plated in black nickel and nestled in a deluxe padded carrying case, the Black Iron snare is a limited edition drum that's made to be played.
