I blame myself. I needed some cheap hi-hats for my practice kit. It's the Gibraltar rubber-pad kit (which I HIGHLY recommend), so obviously I don't care about the SOUND of the hi-hats, because they're going to be muffled anyway.OK first of all I took them out of the box and laughed. They are THIN and junky. They sound awful. Like bad china cymbals with cracks all through them. But I figured, what the heck, let me try them on the kit, I knew they were going to sound like crap. I put them on the kit with a neoprene pad between them and a Sound-Off (another recommendation!) cymbal muffler on top. Now, I had NO idea these hi-hats were only 13"! So the Sound-Off muffler doesn't even fit! Even with all the muffling they still sound like crap and they're so light they tend to stick together when I lift my foot off the pedal. I've been playing drums for 27 years and never, EVER have I heard such horrible cymbals. I knew they'd sound bad but I thought they'd be passable for how I was going to use them. Honestly, I don't think they are. Pacific Drums needs to stick to drums and stay away from cymbals. Do NOT waste your money. Not even if you WANT trash cymbals. These are worse than you can imagine, I kid you not.

      Honestly... What would you expect.

Comments about PDP EZ Cymbal Pack:

These cymblas are junk. But what would you expect for $49. I only bought these so I could sell my kit with cymbals. They got me $150 more than I would have got by selling my drums without them. So for this reason alone they were worth every penny. I will buy these to sell my next drum kit. Not recomended for regular use.

      WORST CYMBALS EVER

      By dson26

      from Illinois

Comments about PDP EZ Cymbal Pack:

First off, I bought these because I needed some cheap cymbals. As soon as I pulled these out of the box I new they were a bad investment. These things are about as heavy as a pop can, and they are very thin and flimsy. The hi-hats were way too light and stuck together when I'd go to open them, and they sounded horrible, pretty much no sound except for your stick hitting metal(if that makes sense). The Crash/Ride had more of a China sound then anything else. When you hit it, it would ring out forever(and not in a good way). This is the worst investment ever, they cracked after a few months, save your money up enough to buy ANYTHING better then these. You will wasting your money if you buy these.

      AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

      By Andrew Lemke

Comments about PDP EZ Cymbal Pack:

The person who designed these must be deaf. I got these on a used pacific set. Drums are great but cymbals are a NO go. I won't compare these to any thing. DO NOT BUY. If your short on money try to get real cymbals like Zijdian ZBT or anything besides these not worth a nickel unless you want a very intresting frisbe DO NOT BUY.

      Worse than garbage can lids

      By DaveT439

      from Baton Rouge

Comments about PDP EZ Cymbal Pack:

I bought these to sell with an old CB700 kit (since I replaced my kit with a shiny new Tama kit, but my Cymbals are fine). The CB700 kit I had originally came with some crap Pearl cymbals, but those things were top of the line compared to this garbage. The crash/ride is *barely* passable, but the hi-hats are just embarrassing. The CB700 kit is old but solid and I was going to try to bill this as a "real" entry level kit (full sized drums, real hardware etc.), but I don't think I can do it with hi-hats this utterly terrible. Don't buy this garbage unless you're trying to replace the cymbals on a toy drum set.

Comments about PDP EZ Cymbal Pack:

When I got these I thought how bad could they be since I was a beginner. When I got them I was surprised at how bad they really were. It sounds as if your hitting two pots with drum sticks. Not a good buy.

      PDP CYMBALS

      By Dekker666

      from SLC, UT

Comments about PDP EZ Cymbal Pack:

Yeah, I have these... Great cymbals!! Well, until you find out what your doing. These suck compared to my Zildjians but what you expect... Your paying for $ cymbals. Their not that great, but good backups, if your need it. But if your after good cymbals... Yeah, no don't get them. They do make good decoration if your paint a cool design on them!!!
