Comments about PDP Single Pedal 450:
My son wanted a different pedal but they were all on back order. So he got this one. He is really happy with it. It was easy to set up and works great with his electronic drum set.

Comments about PDP Single Pedal 450:
This seems like a durable piece of gear with the exception of the tension spring.I did not like the fact that there is no threaded pins to help anchor it in to the floor.SO it has a tendency to allow the drum to walk. Also, getting the pedal to stay aligned with the drum was not possible. I took it off and put my old reliable Premier PD252 back on
Comments about PDP Single Pedal 450:
i have the double bass of this, and ive had to put up with it for about 3 years now. it sucks. the tension between the two pedals is always different and i can never get them the same, the spring is, for me, way too stiff to make it useful for fast playing. the spring for the left pedal broke last week for me, and the heads are so hard and i have to slam the pedal that the back of the head comes down and hits the top of my foot, which has caused bone bruising. i dont know if other pedals do this, but im pretty sure they shouldnt, and if i dont hit it hard enough, it wont hit the head hard enough to hear, so im stuck bruising my foot constantly. i wear a size 11 1/2 - 12 shoe, and the pedal feels somewhat small at times, depending on the shoe i wear, i would prefer a longer foot board. but it is a double bass for just $100, so, like i stated above, you get what you pay for
Comments about PDP Single Pedal 450:
this pedal blows. it has no response at all. get a pearl 120 pedal for a little extra cash. dont be suckered. its really terrible, i threw it out, and got the 120. i could not even sell it, go figure! HA!
Comments about PDP Single Pedal 450:
I just received this pedal today and man, is it great! Right out of the box, all I had to do was adjust the spring tension and the beater and it was ready to go. This makes my old pedal look like crap (which it was anyways). The only problem I have it is how the bass hoop clamp is in the center, not off to the side. The pedal hits the top of the screw on some strokes. Another problem is that the beater doesn't go down enough for me to center it on the bass head (but it's understandable since I have an 18" SJC custom bass drum)
Comments about PDP Single Pedal 450:
I have the double pedal of this. I've had it for over a year and its not bad for only 100 bucks. I was so skepitcal about using it over the cheap price, but its not a bad deal. Sometimes I can get some decent 32 and 64 notes on it. I recommend it for the first time player.
Comments about PDP Single Pedal 450:
This pedal came with my PDP MX drum kit and I really like it. You have to make sure that the beater and spring have no slack in order for it to be optimum. Otherwise, it will be too lose or too tight and uncomfortable. I did, however, put a heavier beater (iron cobra beater) in order to give it a little more weight. Even though I've looked at other pedals to eventually replace this one, I can't seem to justify more money on an iron cobra because it does everything I ask it to do and it does it very well.
