I have this for my set, it holds my main snare. I gotta say that, ppl who say it doesn't go low are crazy! This thing is perfect! I used to sit low with all my drums medium hight with my snare the same. Back then, it was great and it still is. I now have my set low and leveled off. my snare and low tom are about, 2 inches lower than my high and medium toms and my stand still accomodates PERFECT. I also love the knob for locking the snare in. It's easy to get a grip and turn fast incase of changing snares on stage. Alot better than most stands I've used, including Mapex and Pearl. Keep it up PDP!

When I bought my Pacific kit, this stand was part of the harware pack they hooked me up with. I was gigging with a praise band every Sunday and between Sundays and rehearsals, I was setting up and tearing down 2 - 3 times a week. I had only owned this stand about 6 months when the tripod locking screw stripped out and I had always been careful not to over tighten. I felt it should have been more durable than this and I ended up purchasing a better stand from another brand.

Comments about PDP SS700 Snare Stand:

Bulky but poor quality. I replaced it with a Yamaha- just the opposite.

Bought this stand a week ago. The legs do spread further than other stands I own. For the price though, it's fine.

    Not Good

    By Anonymous

Comments about PDP SS700 Snare Stand:

The legs spread so far apart, that I can't even get the stand to fit inside of my double bass pedals. It also is way too high at its lowest point. This stand would only work for about 5% of drummers, and none that I know.

Comments about PDP SS700 Snare Stand:

Well, i bought this stand for a tom and that's what i used it for. It's a great stand for really any thing you need it for. But it could be more flexible/adjustable.

    Poor Stand

    By Anonymous

    from Undisclosed

Comments about PDP SS700 Snare Stand:

This snare stand is incredibly shoddy. The metal basket arms bend very easily and the stand does not go low at all. I prefer my snare to be low and flat, and this stand certainly does not allow for that. It may be more expensive for a better stand, but it is so much more worth it. If you still want a low price, maybe try that other Pacific snare stand that looks like it goes lower (although I haven't tried it to say for sure).

Comments about PDP SS700 Snare Stand:

An affordable, quality snare stand that is good for any drummer. Comes with great features that don't usually exist on stands in this price range. If you are looking for a good snare stand, this would be an excellent choice.
