The H-900 hi-hat stand features footboard angle/height adjustment, a traction footboard, a quick spring adjustment system, UltraGrip Wingnuts and Wingbolts that allow your drumsticks to be used for loosening, a heavy-gripping CL-300 clutch, Die-cast pipe joints, Stop Locks for memory positioning, SureStruts to prevent lateral wobble and squeaks.

Our old hi-hat stand was very hard to set up next to a double pedal, and the drop clutch we used did not work wll on the stand. The swivel legs on this Pearl make it easy to set up the stand next to a double pedal. Our Sound Percusion drop clutch locks on perfectly and works like a dream now. (This comes with a standard clutch; we didn't try it.) This is a heavy stand, but the only other stand we can compare it to was much inferior. We can't imagine a reason to spend more money on a stand.

Thought that this was going to be a back up to my $285.00-----hi hat, turned out using it more often than the main one. Very fast,sturdy,and keeps up with the big three brands with ease.Great response for cymbal work. Quality is off the roof for your pro or just building your set into a custom.

I love this stand. I got it the night before a gig and it is awsome. I play hardcore/metal in my band and jazz for fun when I'm by myself, so I really wanted a hi hat stand that could have the pedal right next to the double kicks' slave, but all of the 2 legs were either way to expensive or not heavy weight, then I saw this and saw that the legs were moveable so I bought it. The HH pedal is next to my slave pedal just like a 2 leg but it's sturdy and very heavy weight. Great buy, for sure.

I really liked this unit. Very well built and the mechanics of the unit are very good too. I am just a beginner drummer, but the pedal and chain links and adjustments are very solid. No slipping going on here. Once you tighten things at the height you want, it stays right there!

This stand is very sturdy, yet not so heavy as to be unwieldy. The action is very smooth and precise and everything locks in to exactly how you set it. For the money this stand is an excellent value. What more can I say, it is Pearl 900 series after all and it does the 900 series justice!

I have slowly been upgrading and adding onto my cheap pulse drumset i purchased years ago to begin learning how to play. the cheap hi-hat stand that came with that kit was past its prime so i bought this one. Especially compared to what i was using this stand is amazing. It is so durable and so much smoother. This stand is definitely worth the money, in fact it should probably cost more. Great buy.

This stand is incredible for the money, it's very heavy duty and it's sturdy. So for the money it's great, and an overall good stand, but I'm not blown away by it. I'm going to save up and eventually get a DW9000 high hat stand. I don't regret buying this though, because I would gladly take this to a bar or some firehall show.

The only thing I don't like about this stand is the fact that it can't go low enough for my playing style. I like my hats to be about 3 inches off the snare. If there's something I'm missing please email me. Besides that this stand is sturdy and easy to use. Very good buy.
