The Pearl DR-503 ICON 3-Sided Drum Rack is the world's first height-adjustable drum rack that uses 100% slip-proof square tubing. The Icon system provides infinite and independent adjustment to any position on its 34"-long legs. Set-and-forget memory clamps allow quick and repeatable set ups without tools. The T-style feet are very stable. Includes front and 2 side sections. Equipped with 7/8" tom and cymbal holders on each front leg. All rack bars are 36" for compact storage and easy transport. Includes 4 PCX-100 clamps and 2 PCL-100 clamps.

I've been contemplating a rack for years but never thought it would fit in my car. I was wrong. The rack breaks down all the way and takes up less space in my hardware bag than my stands did previously. Very easy to assemble. I played a gig with it the same day it arrived! Heavy duty construction, yet not all that heavy. Square tubing is the way to go! This rack is totally sturdy and will not slip at all compared to other racks. Very easy to assemble, totally ergonomic and comfortable. My rack toms and cymbals are exactly where I want them. My kit has never felt so comfortable and secure. No matter how hard you can play, your kit will not move. The days of a stand falling over after a hard fill are over! The straight stand is totally comfortable...I don't see the point is spending more for the curved rack. My only complaint is that the rack and the extra clamps are pretty expensive but expect this thing to last forever. Buy one and you will never want to go back to stands. My suggestion to someone looking to decrease set-up time, unless you have a truck or SUV where you could leave the rack partly assembled, you won't be saving anytime. It still takes me just as long but it looks cooler and my kit feels much better.

I've had all the respect for pearl items. I thought i found a good buy with this because it had a pearl name. This is one of the worst buys i've ever had. Not versatile at all. You can't be creative in any way. If you have big drums, good luck. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. I'm definitely going to sell this to someone. It got a 3 in features because it was no slip. But what about people who want some tilt? I was not pleased with pearl this time.

I came across one of these in a show room and purchased it for our band's road kit. I am not a drummer, I play bass and guitar but I knew it would solve many set up and show problems of which our drummer complained. It is strong enough to support my weight. The pipe clamps hold a great deal of mass without coming loose. Extensions are available and with extra clamps and arms, it may be configured in every imaginable design. Every piece in the kit is clamped to it so nothing ever moves. Kit holds double kick, 2 flr toms, 3 rotos, snare, two chimes, 2 triangles, gong, high-hat, 8 cymbals and several mikes. Locks make set up easy and fast.

I've wanted this rack for so long, and finally got it. I had a Gibraltar rack and Pearl blew their competitors out of the water with this. I love how the tubing is square, and it actually is 100% slip-proof. It is also very stable. i have 3 rack toms, 2 floor toms, and 11 cymbals, and this rack doesn't wobble the littlest bit. I HIGHLY recommend this to everyone. Thank you Pearl for being so innovative and smart.

I bought this rack a month ago and it is AMAZING. With the square tubing it dose not slip.I have 13 cymbals and 4 toms on it and every thing fits. Nothing moves ither. I love and worship this rack. If yiu get it You wont be sorry.

This rack is amazing I was a little weary at first since the box it was shipped in weighed a ton, but your gear will always be in the same place and never fall. This thing is beastly and even if a fat perrson stood on it, the rack would not fail.

I bought this set up used from a friend and will never let go! The first time I took it for a test drive, I realized how perfectly all four toms plus all 6 cymbals were positioned. After using it three times I fell in love with how easy it is to repeat a quick, perfect set up. I know it looks like it takes up a lot of room, but I've had it in some pretty small British pubs, and it uses no more room than a regular 5 or 6 piece set up. It's improved how I feel behind the kit, and by default, the quality of my performances! Get this thing now!!!

Pearl hardware is the best. Simplistically beautiful. If you are like me and bought a kit that limited where you could place your mounted toms ( bought two 10" toms as add ons) because of the two larger ones being on the bass drum, this is the way to go. I was a little worried about the PCL clamps but I love them. The key think that this afforded me was taking back the floor space around my kit. I was able to fold up and put away five large tripod stands with this hardware buy. This was the thing I needed to have my kit components in the right place as well as not totally discard some of the hardware I already had. This is where the PCL clamps played a big role, they take those long boom stand pipes and hide them in the legs of the rack, great work Pearl.

I am going to get this rack as soon as possible. I dont see what the point of the Curved Icon rack because its basically the same thing but you have to pay extra money. I'm getting soon!
