I recently bought this kit and it rocks! I loaded some Evans heads on it and a Zildjian ZBT cymbal pack to top it off, and my band loves it. Not to mention the silver sparkle looks great under the colors of stage lighting. I've been playin drums for 32 years and for a good club gigging kit, you can't beat the Pearl Forum.
this set is a great set as far a a starter/extra gigging set goes, but the stock heads blow. i bought evans hydraulic and replaced the pearl protones and that alone made all the difference. i purchased the set from a local store so it came w/ extra 8'' tom and mount. it sounds nice but the range of tuning that the drums can be tuned to is not all that broad. it maybe be just my heads. i am constantly tuning, like every 3 or 4 days
