This drum set is great for the drummer that has experience tuning and playing for a small band. To be honest this drum sets is pretty loud in a good way. If you want to avoid using microphones this drum set gots you covered. The only small thing I suggest is that the bass drum should be muffler because, for the price this bass drum will sound stellar in live situations.
The colors offered for this line a of high quality so orange peel or imperfections are unlikely in the pain job. Very good drum set for the price!

Right after setting up my MCX I knew it was the bomb! Pearl pays so much attention to detail from the nylon washers to the Master Cast Hoops. The sound still blows me away. People look for their dream kit. This is it; with the 6 plies of Maple and Optimounts. Never had such a great kit!
