Interchangeable cams make one pedal into many!

The Pearl P-2000C PowerShifter Eliminator Chain-Drive Pedal features an interchangeable cam system! Comes with four uniquely shaped and color-coded cams. The black cam is Pearl's original linear-feel cam. The white cam is also linear, but larger in diameter for a lighter feel and increased power. The blue is offset and starts with a light feel at the beginning of the stroke and accelerates with speed and power upon impact. The red is radically offset and provides great response for sensitive footwork and extreme power upon impact. All cams attach and detach easily at the push of a button.

I bought 2 of single eliminator pedals ( I play 2 bass drums ), and I put the red cam on them and put the footboard all the way back, and I use the plastic side of the beater for more punch and attack, and boy do these pedals fly. These are the best pedals I have ever played and I have owned dw900's, tama iron cobras, and axis pedals, but Pearl makes the best pedals.

Got this pedal to replace my old starter pedal and boy. After adjusting this pedal, it sure flies. Smooth, fast, precise, plenty of adjustments, and the ability to fine tune the feel down to the cams! My only gripes about this pedal though is that the beater can get a bit on the heavy side if you like to play fast and that the spring tends to squeak a bit on mine, though nothing major.  Hits hard, goes fast, everything you'd want in a pedal for even cheaper than another comparable pedal that costs much more!

I have happily used the Pearl eliminator pedals for over four years now. Their adjustability fine tuning abilities have always been years ahead of the curve. Recently for my birthday I picked up a new Demon Drive Double pedal which has now become my primary bass pedal. But I was able to seperate my eliminator double into two single pedals which i now use for gajate pedals. Buy a set of these now and you will find new uses for them for the rest of your life.

I just ended my 3 month love affair with this pretty trick pedal. Out of respect, I feel I should mention its features. I upgraded to this pedal from my stock PDP400 that came with my FS Birch set. If you do the research, many awesome drummers use this pedal, and is mentioned in the same name as DW, AXIS, TAMA. It has incredible adjustability!! From the cams, grips, angles and FOOTBOARD Length (which I loved most). You can even squeeze in some heel-toe technique with practice. I just upgraded to the DW9000 (which does come with a lot of hype and double the price tag). The DW9000 is quite smooth, almost like playing on water. But it lacks the adjustability that ELIM has. I don't regret the upgrade at all, and love the DW9000... I would definitely suggest this ELIM pedal as a true upgrade and even as your True Money Pedal. All of its options give you the ability to clone any feature you like.
