Comments about Pearl S2000/C Eliminator Snare Stand:
I have been using this stand (sometimes 2) for over a year, and they are still working as new. I've played everything from conventional 14" snares,15'snares,10" snares,11'& 113/4" portable congas, to 14'toms. The stand will allow for any height, width, angle, and once set, it's rock solid. There are more expensive stands, but I don't see how they could be better.

Comments about Pearl S2000/C Eliminator Snare Stand:
I'm already a big fan of Pearl hardware so it's no surprise that this stand is perfect! I've been using a wobbly DW stand for a few years now on my back up kit and finally had enough of it. The snare basket can be adjusted to fit multiple size drums and the tilter ball lets you put the snare exactly where you want it.
Comments about Pearl S2000/C Eliminator Snare Stand:
Overall, if the height and weight work for you, it is among the best you can buy.
Great adjustability. It can grab a wide variety of drums and hold them at any angle. It can hold undersized and oversized snares with equal solidity.
The one adjustment that doesn't quite work is height. I am 5' 8" with a 5" snare, and I have it pretty much as low as it can go. My other snare stands can go 4 inches lower. A small person with a tall snare will probably want to pick something else. I saw that a person over 6' tall couldn't see how this could be a problem, but if your knee is a few inches lower, and you are seated for heel-down throne height, and you are playing on a 6.5" snare, you will run out of adjustment space. Women of average height and young people would also need a lower stand.
The other issue is weight. If you get a bunch of hardware like this, you are going to need a lot of trips to move your gear. It weighs a ton. However, this is it's best feature as well. It is so solid it isn't going to move at all when you are playing.
Massive steel and thick rubber are used everywhere. When your snare is in this thing it feels like it is on a slab of stone. You could probably climb up on your snare and stand on it when it is mounted on this thing. Nothing wiggles or shakes by a millimeter when it is locked in.
Great value. You get what you pay for.
Comments about Pearl S2000/C Eliminator Snare Stand:
I recommend this stand to anyone. It will accommodate almost any size snare or rack tom. Sometimes I share my kit with other bands and the stand is easily adjusted to each drummers particular position and back again.
This stand can be configuired in almost unlimited positions easily.
Stand is heavy duty. Have had another I use with the band at gigs for several years without any trouble.
You get what you pay for. You may pay a little more but you get alot for your dollar. You won't be replacing this stand after a year or so on the road.
Comments about Pearl S2000/C Eliminator Snare Stand:
This snare stand is the best I have ever owned. It has an amazing base that allows you to adjust the feet if necessary. It has a ball-joint style tilter (Uni-Lock tilter), which allows precise adjustment. The arms are adjustable to fit any snare you have. It even holds the 16'' Yamaha wood rim snare I own, which is why I bought it in the first place. Now I plan on using it for all my snares. Outstanding!
Comments about Pearl S2000/C Eliminator Snare Stand:
This thing is the toughest stand I have owned in my life, it will keep your snare more stable than anything else out there, it is a little heavy, not too bad but it is for stability
Comments about Pearl S2000/C Eliminator Snare Stand:
I have read other reviews for this that say it is too tall. I am only 6' and I have to raise it on a 6.5" snare by about 1 1/2" just to get it level with my legs, and my legs are a little off of horizontal when I play. So I would say that is only a problem if you place your snare too low. Great snare stand, I am buying another for my first tom tom.
Comments about Pearl S2000/C Eliminator Snare Stand:
this stand is tops! except for heavy traveling use...after throwing it into a trap case weekly, some of the smaller screws have started loosening and coming off. It's easy to lose those screws after multiple gigs and although they may not seem to be the mort important, they prove their necessity at the most embarrasing times. I love this stand, but I will relegate it to the studio environment where it will most likely feel more at home. {I have the special black edition.}I don't recommend this stand for the road warriors out there.
Comments about Pearl S2000/C Eliminator Snare Stand:
This snare stand is amazing. I use it on my Roland TD-20 kit to hold my PD-125 12" snare and it works like a charm. The adjustments for the snare size work perfectly and for me is the greatest idea ever for a snare stand, bravo Pearl! When I build my regular/acoustic kit, I'm going to be going with Pearl for all of my hardware, this thing is so beefy it's insane! It's well worth the price, don't delay, just buy.
Comments about Pearl S2000/C Eliminator Snare Stand:
This is an excellent snare stand. Well built tons of features. unfortunately, if your snare depth is greater than 6 inches, this stand probably isn't going to work for you. I actually ended up selling mine after two weeks because even at it's lowest position, my 13x7 snare was as high I'd normally play my rack tom.
