Don't forget to keep the bottom lug tightened or it will vibrate loose, fall out, get lost, and then the point of this feature on the clutch will be pointless.

This thing is great. It's got a great locking bottom ferrule so your top hat never loosens from the position you put it in, regardless of how loose you set the top nuts. It doesn't mar the shaft in any way while keeping a fantastic grip on it. I wouldn't rely on any other clutch.
Built to last, it's no lightweight, just be sure not to over-tighten the bottom lock-lug or you may strip out the threads, but that's the same with just about any other drum part so just treat this with the same care you do everything else.
Excellent value, I even bought a second one as a spare for gigging in case I drop something or..well, who knows what happens on gigs sometimes hehe. I wouldn't want to be without one.

Every clutch I've owned has scratched and dented up my pull rod. After realising that there has to be a better clutch design out there, I grabbed a Pearl Super Grip clutch and haven't replaced it since. Not everyone will love the rubber washers, I'll swap them to felt ones depending on the hats I use. Overall, this is well worth the money as it's twice as sturdy and far nicer looking than most generic clutches. I own three now.
