    Comments about Pearl Vision Birch Floor Tom:

    Probably better go to a drum shop and hear these toms first before you buy them.
    Well, features on the tom are pretty much standard. Not much to a floor tom!
    Sounds like you could strap a head on a garbage can and sound the same. I have an older Pacific poplar drum set, and they sound better than this one. I wanted to add a 14x14 tom to my set, so I got one of these Pearl Vision toms. My set resonates well, and this thing sounds dead and hollow. I use Aquarian Performance II's on all my toms, and this tom still sounds bad even with good heads.

    The Greatest Decision Ever.

    Comments about Pearl Vision Birch Floor Tom:

    I started out with just a standard 5 piece, but always wanted to add something more. I looked at adding something like the Ludwig accents, but hey just looked cheap and really didn't want anything that high pitched. I decided to go with this floor tom and it absolutely rocks. i put an ebony pinstripe ambassador head on it for a deep and dampened tone. I couldn't ask for a more perfect setup. i highly recommend everyone have a practice set with 4 toms and a double kick pedal. Its like Christmas Morning everyday.
