Everything you need to add a matching tom to your VX kit.
This VX8P Add-on 8" Tom includes a VX0807 8" x 7" mounted tom drum, one TH88S tom holder, and an ADP-20 multi-clamp—everything you need to add a 10" tom to your VX series drumset.
VX0807 tom drum
The tom features a birch/basswood shell with a high-gloss covering. After thorough research, Pearl discovered that the inner-ply of a drum shell has the greatest effect on the tonal quality of the drum. Putting birch on the inner-ply of these drums gives them a naturally EQ'd, punchy tone with enhanced projection and sustain. This drum includes a professional quality single-ply head for outstanding tone and resonance.
TH88S tom holder
The Pearl TH88S tom holder features a gear-tilter short post, a shorter 25mm arm for use with ISS or Pearl OptiMount mounting systems.
Features dual quick-release clamps that accommodate tubes from 3/4" to 1-1/8" in diameter.

An excellent product by pearl to add a little spice, tone, and attack to your collection of rack toms. Has a great attack, and that tone pearl drums gives you. Protone heads aren't the best, so after a while you might want to replace the stock heads with Remo's, or Evans which ever one you like most. Comes with a clamp, and a tom holder. (Isn't in the description) Overall A great product, 5 stars to Pearl. If you have the money why don't you save up for a masters series, or even a reference series drum set, and buy an add on as well? It's worth it.
