I have been playing drums for 50 plus years and this is the best throne I have ever had.It is a quality product and when you sit on it it gives me less stress on my legs.I choose the gel throne because the top is the same material as the sides.I never gave much thought to what throne I used but this throne changed my mind.

I still do alot of playing and for years it was a full time job 5-6 days a week on the road. If you want the most sturdy, well made, most comfortable drum throne that's on the market, This is the one to buy!
My advise is to read comsumer reviews before you buy anything. If it was junk I'd be honest and tell you. You will not be dissapointed with this drum throne! BUY IT!
Its a chair that you spin to raise and lower it
They did not skip on the steal that was used. It was alot heaiver than expected! 18lbs
In this case you get what you pay for.

I've had other thrones but the Pork Pie Gel is the perfect fit for me!
I used the Tama Ergoryder for years but quickly discovered that when I leaned back to use the back rest; my legs would go to sleep. I finally couldn't put up with it anymore and bought the Pork Pie Gel Throne. It doesn't have a back but it has so much comfort that a 4 hour set goes by without a need to stretch and bend. I now have total comfort!
Very well made; sturdy and easy to adjust!
This is not that much to pay for such comfortable drumming!

I do everything on my new drum throne with everyone (wink). Well maybe not, but I could. The Pork Pie Gel Throne is an incredible product.
The memory foam obviously makes sitting much less straining on your back than any other throne I have sat on. The gel is like the cherry on top making comfortable even more so. I wouldn't more comfortable if Olivia Wilde was sitting on me.
Seems strong enough to me.
Worth every penny.

Whether you're a lightweight 100lbs or so or a Heavyweight 225+ you will love this comfort on this throne. It is more comfortable than anything else out there. I use a RocNSoc at the Studio & DW9100AL at Church. At home I use PPGel Throne. If I had to pick out of the 3 overall I pick PorkPie Gel. The quality is on the level with DW's 9100AL. The price is Top of the Line but then again as the saying goes "You get what you pay for" really applies on this Throne. Stepo up and get Done with it!
