I have the red sparkle and it looks great. I get tons of compliments on it all the time. I sit pretty high up and it still has plenty threads left to go higher. I would give it a ten in features if there was an optional backrest built for it.
Hardware is double-braced and built like a tank as is the seat itself. they didnt skimp on padding, stitching, or cheap fabrics, Pork Pie made this thing to last forever.
Its priced very reasonably and competitively. I have no regrets.

This throne is comfortable and sturdy, and locks into position easily. It was everything I needed. However, after only about a month the flange/spider that bolts on to the seat cracked in two places, and now the seat is very wobbly and noisy. It's amazing that a high end piece of equipment like this could have such an obvious design flaw.

Excellent. Befor buying, I asked Pork Pie the height from floor to the top of the cushion, with no load. Answer: regular base is 21.5 inches. Short base is 19.5 inches.

This throne is the best thing ever. I have used two throne tops before this and every time i would sit for 30 or more minutes, my buns would be screamin! but now my ham is always comfy due to this sweet piece. Plus, if you go to your local drum shop, they generally sell just the top if you have a functional base. I bought mine for only 90 doll hairs as opposed to the 160 you would spend retail. Basically this is the best cushion for all your sitting needs. Buy it. Buy it right now.

It's true...
This seat is comfortable you may nod off occasionally during triplet fills or snore whilst doing half-time shuffles.
It's literally everything you could ever want from a drum throne. Easy to set up, easy to use and so soft that you'll almost forget you're sitting on anything at all. If you're thinking about getting it, stop thinking and do it!
