Comments about Pro-Mark 3-Pair Japanese White Oak Drumsticks:
Hands down best stick available !!
Comments about Pro-Mark 3-Pair Japanese White Oak Drumsticks:
I bought these as a plain Jane version of the Neil Peart signature 747s. They are not the same sticks; slightly thicker and slightly longer. Nothing wrong with them, just a little bigger than I'm used to using.
Comments about Pro-Mark 3-Pair Japanese White Oak Drumsticks:
I've always loved the feel of a 7A.I can move much more smoothly around the drumkit with it than any other stick. ProMarks always have perfect balance, perfect finish, feel great in my hands.
I always start a show with a new pair of ProMark 7A,Shira Kashi Oak sticks in my hands!
ProMark sticks are always perfect.I've never had a defective stick from them.
I played Promark 7A's hickory for years before I tried the Oak stick. They hold up much better under my playing conditions.I spend less cash on sticks.Makes them a better value.

I have found my New Favorite Sticks! WAY TO GO PROMARK!
Just what I was looking for. These Promark 727's are right in the middle between a 7A and a 5A. I purchased the nylon tip because I prefer the sound they make on my cymbals. I have not tried the wood tip version. The balance and extra length on these sticks makes playing great. The Japanese White Oak sticks are almost indestructible. When I first got these sticks I played an almost 4 hour set and these sticks had almost no marks on them. The other brand I was previously using was constantly being chewed up by my cymbals and rim shots.
Very balanced and straight. Perfect weight and size. Very hard wood, almost indestructible.
I purchased a pack of three pair for about $27.00. that averages about $9.00 a pair. For the Features and Quality of these sticks, I don't think you can beat the price.
Comments about Pro-Mark 3-Pair Japanese White Oak Drumsticks:
I will definitely buy from Musicians Friend again. What better rating can you give than that?
As always Musicians Friend came through. Great product, great price, and shipped fast. Smooth transaction, no problems what so ever.
I will definitely use then again.
Quality was first rate.
Great prices on anything you want.
Comments about Pro-Mark 3-Pair Japanese White Oak Drumsticks:
good aticks for the money, buy more than one pair you will break one by the end of your set
well balanced and outstanding attack, but they dont last long for heavy hitters. buy 2 or 3 pairs if you plan on using them for a gig.
good solid feel, but they break too easily.
average price for a pair of oak sticks
Comments about Pro-Mark 3-Pair Japanese White Oak Drumsticks:
From now on I will be buying these instead of hickory!
Good balanced Weight, Tuff as nails, Sound Great (rim shots)! Don't splinter like Hickory!
So far Worth the extra few dollars for them! Better than Hickory!
Comments about Pro-Mark 3-Pair Japanese White Oak Drumsticks:
I play 3-4 gigs per week, so good sticks are extremely important to have... For years I played with 5BN hickory Vic Firth sticks, but over the past few months, they have seem to be cracking, chipping, and losing their tips when I play... A pair of Vic Firths use to last me 2-3 gigs, and now they maybe last one 45min set.. Do the math, that gets expensive... So, I decided to try the promark japanese white oak sticks to see if they were any better... I started with the 5BN, and while they are great sticks, they were a little too heavy for what I like... Naturally, japanses white oak is a lil heavier then hickory... So, I got a 3pack of 808 nylons, and there it is, "THE PERFECT STICK".... These sticks are awsome, and exactly the weight, and feel, I have been looking for... There a little bit smaller then a 5B, but thicker then a 5A, and very well built...I was very impressed with how well built, and how well these sticks held up during a show... I'am a hard hitter, and these sticks will take a beating.... 1 pair will last me 2-3 shows which is way better then what the Vic Firths would do... They don't crack, and they take awhile b4 the shoulder of the stick starts chipping away... I highly recommend these sticks to anyone who plays hard, and who wants to get more bang for the buck... I love these sticks, and will be using them for awhile... GREAT JOB PROMARK!!!!!!
