Pro-Mark Natural Hickory Drumsticks  

I have been using Vater 5A nylon tips for about 3 years now.  They are cheap and last a long time.  I was checking out random sticks at a local shop and came across these.  What drew me to them was the thick neck it had - practicly no taper.  I bought a pair to use at a gig that night.  Love them!  They held up to 4 straight hours of drinking and bashing drums/cymbals.  They are looking pretty worn now but I guess that's because the finish is different than Vater's.  And since it was a new stick (to me) I have some serious bleeding blisters on my thumb and pinky.  Once the skin regrows, I'm going to try to get my hands use to the 747's!

These sticks are amazing. Especially for anyone who drops sticks often. The slightly rough surface gives a grip that I could only get when I used grip tape or gloves. But no more. Now its 100% hand-stick grip. I highly recommend these to anyone.

I love these sticks.The best feel you will ever get out of a stick.No lacquer to blister and callus your hands.The natural finish gives it a predictable wear.No shattering.Slowly chips away and its easy to tell when its time for a new pair.They are very solid feeling and have more weight than the average stick.I have tried every brand,every size.These are the best sticks in the world,and thats a promise.Enough said.

These were the second pair of drum sticks I bought at a music store in Green Bay and once i put them in my hands they felt extremely comfortable. They had the thin diameter I was looking for, easy to twirl, could toss them around as much as I wanted, very fast for playing, and I hope to be endoresed with Pro Mark 747 sticks. PRO-MARK 4 LIFE!
