These sticks are much shorter than most standard sticks which is why I bought them. I feel like I have more control and speed with these sticks. With tighter smaller drums setups of today I dont need the reach from normal stick. The Phil Collins stick also has my favorite round type tip. Great feel, weight, size and tip.

I've played many types of sticks for various reasons and when I tried the Phil Collins (because they are shorter than most other sticks) I decided to use these exclusively until my needs change or Pro-Mark stops making them. Every pair I've bought feels rather lite in weight , which I enjoy and I've broken as many of these as I have of any other Pro-Mark stick I've used.In my experiences... Pro-Mark sticks tend to wear down a great deal before they break unlike some other brands that just snap without much wear. These aren't "cheaply made" unless you consider Pro-Mark sticks to be cheaply made across the board. If you play with your kit components incredibly close together, this stick may be right up your alley. The feel of these sticks help as well, in my opinion, as far as the finish on them if your hands sweat a great deal.

These are good because of their size. My drum teacher suggested I buy shorter sticks because I choke up a lot on drum sticks. I think their really good. They don't feel very strong, but they haven't splintered or broken on me yet.

These sticks are a unique departure from average. Shorter than nearly every mainstream stick, and just as beefy as an 808, these sticks maintain hitting power, while allowing the player to remain close to the kit.
