Softer sound, solid design.
Stealth Rods are made with nylon bristles and feature solid maple handles and a movable O-ring. These nylon bristles produce a somewhat softer sound.
ProMark Rods produce a lower volume than drum sticks, but more attack then brushes. They're perfect for a variety of applications. When regular sticks are too loud, and brushes are too soft, Rods are just right.

I thought I had found the perfect combination of stick and rods, but those dreams were shattered along with the connection of the two.
Amazing balance and weight. Nylon rods are very durable. The wooden shaft is great for cross sticking. However where the two come together needs rethinking.
The rubber band turned out not to be for adjusting the sound as much as keeping rods from falling out. Glue began to fail during first gig. Not a huge problem until the thin wood surrounding the joint began to split, finally breaking causing the rods to fly out. This happened after only a few weeks of playing in church services.
Great features but a weak link in the chain causes the whole thing to fail.

I have been using these for about 2 years now. I can say that they are the best build rods I have, and I have most all of the brands. These are downright rugged and last and last with hard play. They are balanced in such a way that you can pull off some crazy rolls and articulation on every drum. I am highly pleased with these and I think they are definitely something every drummer should have.

These sticks are an excellent investment. I have had them for over a year now and I use them almost every day. The adjustment capability is excellent with only one rubber o-ring that stays were you put it. The nylon rods are very durable compared to wood. The sticks themselves are very comfortable and allow great articulation. They managed to make them very well balanced. Seriously, everyone should have a pair of these in their collection.

I bought a pair of these a while back as an alternative to hot rods. Seemed like a good idea to me...The nylon doesn't break, the solid stick allows for rim clicks, what could go wrong? Well, on my pair the glue that holds the 4" nylon rods into a groove blew out and the nylon rods flew everywhere. In my opinion, that's the only way these things could break. When will some really durable multirods come out?

I have had these rods for only a short time, but so far they are awesome. The nylon rods do not give you the sweet sound of wood but they still give you the SNAPE you need to get the job done. Finaly the removable O-rings provide soft to loud dynamics.
