After destroying a pair of those zildjian gloves in short order, I tried that gauze-lookin grip tape stuff, which either gets all shredded after a short time and you have to re apply, or it slides off you're left holding an empty grip tape noodle with no stick in it...This Pro-Mark Stick Rapp is genius. It's just like that rubber stuff that they wrap the bats with at the batting cage. I disagree that it doesn't stay on well. You just have to wrap it tight. The trick is to make the overlap just under half (see the way the sticks are wrapped in the picture for Vater stick wrap--which by the looks is identical to Pro mark's product)and it will stay on just fine. Save that that gauze-stuff for wrapping your fingers a'la Lars.

This stick wrap is a nice product, I've tried it before, as well as the Vater stick wrap. Honestly though, it's a little pricey. There is a product at most sports stores called Tourna Grip that is used to wrap tennis rackets. It's the same material, and also costs much less. One wrap cut in half will wrap one pair of sticks, and 10 wraps for ten pairs of sticks costs 16 dollars, instead of four wraps or two pairs costing 7. Save some money by buying a roll of tourna grip!

Comments about Pro-Mark Stick Rapp Tape:
Since I started using wrap tape on my sticks I've had better control, and speed in my drumming.
They absorb a lot of the shock and vibration, so my hands and arms aren't so tired or sore after a long session.

Comments about Pro-Mark Stick Rapp Tape:
Use to drop a stick at least once a show.....No more! Excellent product! Highly recommend.
Comments about Pro-Mark Stick Rapp Tape:
This is worth it. Not only do you get a better grip, but the added diameter makes holding onto the stick easier. I just won't playing without the rapp. I will continue to purchase this product.
Great quality for the price.
Comments about Pro-Mark Stick Rapp Tape:
I am not a huge fan of the feel of this tape. It feels very thin, but the grip is good. However, the Vater tape is a little thicker and seems to give a little more cushion to your hand. I much prefer this. For me, the Vater tape is the way to go.

Comments about Pro-Mark Stick Rapp Tape:
I wrapped up a new pair of sticks with this tape today, and found it to be a little sticky. I've bought the Vater tape before and loved it, they didn't have the black Vater tape in stock, I had to settle for this.If you can, get the Vater tape, but if not, there's nothing wrong with settling for this.
Comments about Pro-Mark Stick Rapp Tape:
I got this today and it works great. Just start at the bottom of the stick and roll up diagonaly, then roll the sticker around the end. My sticks used to slip out of my hands when playing, but now they don

Comments about Pro-Mark Stick Rapp Tape:
This stuff is fantastic. If you put it on right (which is easy to do), it won't budge a bit. It will also keep the sticks in your hands, great if you like light sticks. It also cushions your fingers, so you can play for hours without getting any blisters. Plus it looks totally stylin'.
Comments about Pro-Mark Stick Rapp Tape:
this is some of the best stick grip i've ever had, its great, never falls off, and dosn't fall out of even my hands! usually when i play, the sticks fly out of my hand when i drum, but even when i play with 7A sticks, i get a good grip.
