Pro-Mark Tommy Adlridge Signature Drumsticks are oak 17" long 2S sticks with an oversize wood tip. Tommy, a Florida native, got his start with Black Oak Arkansas. Along the way, he's played with Ozzy, Whitesnake, and on numerous projects. You might just say that Tommy Aldridge set the standard for double-bass rock drumming.

The short taper and big tip give me a fat, strong sound. They are great on the toms and make my snare sound like a rifle shot.
I keep my cymbals pretty high up. These sticks help me reach out and smack 'em! I used to use Bobby Rock sticks, but the company quit making them! BOO! These are about half an inch shorter, yet have the same width and similar tip. The oak takes a beating. I've cracked two of my crashes using these sticks, ....really.
The shira kashi oak comes off in smaller chunks than the hickory. They last longer than my previous models

I love these sticks ?baseball bats? for warm-ups?like a hitter swings a heavy practice-bat before he steps up to the plate with his real bat. I cannot play with these sticks for a long time because I need shoulder surgery and my biceps are detached. However, after playing with these sticks for 15 minutes or so, I switch to a lighter stick, e.g., Jason Bonham, signature type, and I can really move. The bead is a great semi-rounded design, and I find the stick long but well balanced--young hard hitting drummers should love these beasts. Also, the look of these sticks is worth the price?the wood is beautiful.

my friend gave me a pair of these, and I was surprised at how HEAVY they are. Also they're a good inch and a half - two inches longer than my normal sticks. I have to say a little too heavy for me but thats just my preference. good, cheap, loud, long sticks made for heavy players. Plus they last forever. I've had mine for a good 6 months and even though they're eaten away to about half of what they were when I first got 'em, they've yet to break. Good quality. But don't waste money on shipping. just go down to your local music store and buy a pair.

I just got these sticks and I can't say if they will last long or not, but I can say that they are SWEET! These are pretty dang huge! They're a whole new, huge experience from 2Bs. When you play on your set with these, their is so much power going into them, its incredible! After playing w/ them for a while, I picked up a pair that is equavalent to a 5A or 5B and it felt like a twig. The reason I gave 4 on the features it that when I play the ride, you can't get much of a delicate sound cause they are so huge. {But maybe its just me.} By the way, I'v never even really heard of Tommy Alderage, but his sticks rock. Good job Pro Mark!
