      I've now owned these cases for a year and have put them through the test. These cases are the bomb. Easily worth the investment. Why spend 1000 or more for your kit and not protect them? It may take a while to get your order if they have to make them. I ordered 10 at one time, but the wait was worth it.

        Be Careful...not made to fit drums w/ suspension mounts...

        Although I like these cases (I have one for my 14 X 12 floor tom), they are not made to fit most toms that have a suspension mount system. I have a PDP 10 X 8 tom w/ the standard PDP suspension mount and it wouldn't fit in the 10 X 8 case. I returned the 10 X 8 to MF and bought a 12 X 8 and the 10 tom fits fine in the 12 case.

        IMO, if you have toms w/ suspension mounts, buy the next diameter up from the size of the drum you're buying for...

        Other than that problems, they are nice, basic hard shell cases.
        Nice solidly built cases. Be careful of the sizing for toms w/ suspension mounts.
        IMO, they are a little overpriced.

        Expecting the worst to happen, like your drums falling off a truck or some idiot dropping them, is apart of being a musician. These cases are the absolute best for the money. The one thing I will point out, which is a small issue, is the fact that if your drums have RIMS mounts it may be a little difficult to get them into the case at first. The good thing is that they flex to accommodate the mounts and are a much better option than bags, which dont do anything accept protect from dust. If you are going on a small tour, or just gigging around town, your drums will be appreciative of these cases and so will you!

        I'm still waiting for other sizes to arrive in stock to purchase more. The cases will fit the drum specified without padding, but that's what's advertised in the description. I've purchased 2 tom cases that meet expectation, and it has a "limited" lifetime warranty. If you're looking at bags,I recommend the extra bucks for a hard case. Even though they don't have "foam padding" on the interior, I there's enough room to cover your drum in a towel (or your own foam) to protect your investment. I have no regrets for purchasing these cases, except for they're not always in stock. If you need an upgrade from a gator bag, this is the next step. Just buy it!
