The Gator Trap MOD Case is a modular-type case for cymbals and an assortment of drum accessories like snare drums, stick bags, or pedals. The Trap MOD comes standard with wheels and a fold out handle for convenient transportation. I have used this case for about three years and couldn't be happier. Along with another Protechtor case, I separated all my hardward from one large "coffin case" into two for easier handling. I use this without the inserts- I have separate cases for my cymbals and snare- but I use it for my pedal, rack stem, throne stand and Roc-n-Soc seat with back, snare stand, microphones, and other misc items. I use the other case for hi-hat and cymbal stands.
You could use this for your cymbals and your snare (there is a molded section in the bottom to cradle a few cymbals), but there wouldn't be much room left for hardware. If you didn't use the snare insert you could just use the inner tray for hardware above the cymbal area and the hardware would be kept separate. I just use it as a big box, but the molded area that is meant for the cymbal support creates divisions that help organize the hardware.
There is a handle that rests against the outside / back and folds out for rolling along. The wheels are not large but they allow the case to sit flatly on the ground (or the back seat of your car) which wouldn't be the case with large wheels. There are three other sturdy handles for lifting. The case is very well made. It has made a big difference for me in how I organize and transport my gear.
