Features:

The set was perfect for my grandson.  He is 8 this year and could reach everything while still touching the floor.  There were no cymbals with the set, but we added on for a minimal fee.  A very good set for the beginning drummer.

Quality:

Agaiin this set is made for the beginning drummer.

Awesome starter drum set

This is an awesome starter drum set I just bought this set for my 2 yr old son Samson for Christmas he has not seen it yet but he heard me playing them in the basement after I assembled them. This is a great musical instrument for the $. Tommy Lee would enjoy playing this set. The only thing that I was dissapointed about was how cheap the drum throne is. The kick drum could be a little louder the floor tom drowns the bass sound out and makes the snare drum vibrate. The floor tom is a must if you are going to play the drums so if you opt for the 3 piece pulse set you are cheating your child and yourself greatly.

The best set on the market for the money handsdown. I priced a pearl jr drum set the cheapest set that I found was about $300.00 more than the set that I bought. I only gave $200.00 for the entire 4 piece pulse jr drum set with meinl hi hat and meinl crash cymbal. 

Overall:

Not a fat man rated drum throne but good enough for a very young child to sit on. If it is for an 8 yr old or older get a better throne.

REAL drums, even a big kid can play

I bought a jr kit to add the 8" tom to my full sized kit. I set the whole kit up out of the box an threw on some Remo ebony heads and Sabian AA's and was hammering on them, ive been beating them every other day for 3 months now and nothings broken so far. throw some quality heads on this little monster an you'll be amazed at the sound quality. If your planning on giving it to a kid,as i will after i've had my fun with it, invest in some Sabian sbr or Zildjian ZBT cymbals and they'll be set for years of fun
