I have been using these sticks for YEARS. They are Vater seconds,but they are still very good sticks. I use the Rock model. I had been using the nylon tip, but the last few packs I recieved the tips flew off or cracked off. I switch to the wood tips and I am still very pleased with the quality.Price does matter and I just can't see how somwone would spend much more on a pair of sticks when you can have these!! I am a Hard Rock drummer, I play hard and loud and these Hold up as good as anything out there.

I chose to purchase these sticks as a way to save because the last few pairs of vic firths broke too easily. I was extremely satisfied the first week of usage. The balance of the stick is a little heavier toward the tip than vic firths, but that was easy to get used to.
The second week of usage, I noticed one of the wood tips had chipped. I didn't think much of it until it occurred again, and again...and again! I purchased the sticks two months ago and five tips have chipped, but not one stick has broken or cracked. So, weigh out your options: save money or play with chipped sticks.

These are well weighted sticks i hardly break the 5b at one point i was busting through a stick a week. These seem to last a good while durable and comfortable to play drums with. I've been playing with pulse for six years 7a and 5b.

Not bad for the money, they feel a little lighter than other 7A hickory sticks, and if you tap them on the rim they give a slightly different sound, but if you are not a heavy hitter you got 6 pairs for a low price.

these sticks are great.My vic firths were breaking to easily, so i opted out and bought these just because of how cheap they were. Wow these sticks are solid i out them through alot of playing and they held up great. I am sold on these sticks

They're solid sticks, especially for the price. Im not crazy how they feel in my hands. They're a little bulky.

i loved the price for the sticks but i didnt expect them to hold up so well. i usually put a pair on my bass drum and the pair i play and these 2 sets are all ive used so far. this after 4 gigs of at least 3 hrs. there is some chipping from cymbal hits and the tips are softening a bit but overall these are great sticks. i am extremely happy especially for the price. by comparison i recently played a friends drumset set and he had the "dipped' sticks and i broke one in the first song and another in the second song. highly recommeneded
