This Is not a bad Drum set for the price. Always remember drum sets won't always come with good heads, You have to upgrade. My advice to get better sound is to get Remo Pinstripe heads, They sound awesome with this set or any, The hardware isn't the best but you can't expect to have the best quality for the price. The snare is kind of fluffy and quiet, change the head or get a new snare. To get the best sound out of the toms to stop the ring is to get aquarian rings for the set it definitely fixes the problem. And for the bass drum I would get either the Evans emad 2 or the aquarian super kick II. Great starting kit!

I got this as my first set a while back. I thought it was ok, until I changed the bass drum heads. The bass drum hoop was lopsided, and one of the lugs was stripped (from the factory). The stands aren't very good. Make sure you change the heads because the ones on these are terrible. If you are a beginner, ok, go for this set, but if you have the money and you are serious about drumming, buy something better.

pusle 5-piece drum kit

This is an amazing starter kit, However, it is not studio quality. I got this when i was just starting out and loved it, but I decided to get new heads because these arent very good. The snare is the cheapest part of this kit, because even with a remo head it still rings and rattles, so I would say count on getting a new one eventually. The only other thing is that if you play rock and hit everything as hard as you can like I do, the hard ware will come loose right in the middle of the song.

Good for Beginners!!!!!!

By Lisa-YrmVP

This is great for beginners but the heads sound terrible so you'd definitely want to replace them. There's also no practical instructions for putting it together so be prepared to figure it out on your own. There was no manufactural defects with my set and it arrived super fast. The metallic blue is REALLY pretty and glitters. This set is remarkably durable! I wail on it daily and it's been holding up NICELY for four years!I would definitely recommend beginners to buy this! This is an EXCELLENT value!

This set is no different than any other set! The only thing I did not like about the set is the heads. I bought good heads for them, and it sounded great! Its good for begenniers and don't cost as much.

I use this kit to practice with my band and it gets the job done. Just like any other set. I highly reccomend you replace the cheap things such as all cymbals, all hardware except for the tom mounts, all heads (resonant included). If you do that, you have a moderately expensive set for way less

This set is fun to play. I replaced the original drum heads with some Remos and they work. I put some Zildjian ZBTs and it sounds awesome. The drummer in our band was starting to get mad because he wanted to play, but he couldn't find any drums for a good price. So I looked and found these. I would recommend this product to beginners or people on a budget.

Awesome for Beginners!!!

By tat tat...tom tom

This set is great for beginners. I've had this set for almost 3 years now. Be prepared to have your brain boggled because this thing doesn't come with any instructions. After the first few weeks, I realized that the heads are terrible so replace them as soon as possible. Also, the cymbals are a little "off" so don't be surprised if you aren't very fond of them.Overall, a great set for beginners! If you're new to drumming, I highly reccomend these.

Ask me a question

When you buy a begginners set you shouldn't expect too much. We bought this set for our 9 year old to replace his jr. set. He has been playing for 4 years and right away he asked for a new snare head (bought a remo for christmas). It adjusts quite nicely to his small frame and doesn't sound too bad. We used the symbals he had with his jr. set so we didn't have to spend too much. I figure if he keeps going someday he'll want a better set but for now this one looks great and sounds good.
