This is a fun and jangly instrument that is an awesome deal. I looked and looked and although it's not made from the top of the line metals, it's got a great sound. On the down side, I think the "grip" area is still too thick, and could use more padding, but if you're not a pro, get this one.

I ordered this tambo before and receive the one pictured which has comfortable curved rubber grip. This time I received a different tambo with an uncomfortable straight handle made of cheap plastic. Booooo. Doesn't feel as natural in my wrist as the previous tambo I ordered. Still sounds decent tho.
Doesn't have a curved rubber grip as pictured. Instead has straight grip made of cheap plastic. Not very comfortable to hold.
Grip is cheap plastic as opposed to the more comfortable rubber grip I was expecting.
Still a very inexpensive tambo that gets the job done. Sounds alright.

      tambourine

      By gregory pace

      from wisconsin

It is cheaply made witch is why the lower rating but if not abused it should be just fine.
This tambourine is very inexpensive and sounds good.I throw it on the ground and play it with my foot while playing guitar and singing. For this purpose it sounds good.

      Nice for the price.

I couldn't have asked for a better instrument for the price and the purpose I had in mind. The tambourine fits my hand perfectly and I like the non-traditional shape. Would buy again, especially as a SDotD.
Good solid instrument. I wanted an inexpensive tambourine for a few tracks I'm doing. This fit the task.
I'm a guitar/bass guy so I don't have enough hands to gig with it, but I'm sure I could.
What's not to like about the SDotD?

      Pulse Pro Tambourine Black

      By Barry Greenberg

      from Saint Louis, MO

This is the tambourine you need if you want a workout. The tambourine is on the heavy side and you should have arms like Barry Bonds after a lively set.The "pro" in the title must mean "pro wrestler". The handle is inset, so the balance is a little different and I am still getting used to it.
It has plenty of jingles. The jingles are not brass, so they ring less.
      Well built.
      Great value for the price.

      Just Awesome

      By Chris Davis

      from Undisclosed

My mom bought this for me and shipped it to my college. It was an excellent surprise, although I did wonder if she had thought about how annoying I might get..
It's a really nice tambourine, great sound and control. I'm not a rhythym player by any means, but it's nice to have the option, especially for recording.
It was a stupid deal of the day, so it was definitely worth it

      I like it, it's great

      By Chief fan 66

      from western Kansas

      overall, it's great
I got it thinking the space in the middle would work to put my foot in there so I could use it tapping my foot while I play guitar---had to guess at the size of that space. My foot is a size 11 and it works even with a suede leather shoe on. The jingles in that area don't work then but there are plenty others. In fact they help to keep it on your foot. Great for a one man band or whatever.
      It seems guite durable.
Seems to be very good quality, period.

      Alright depending on use

      from Undisclosed

This is a great deal for the money. Otherwise it sounds terrible. I would say it is great for younger kids to play with(Although it is pretty loud). Not for performing or recording. Very sturdy construction and I am sure it will last.

      Great Tambourines

      By Anonymous

      from Undisclosed

These are great tambourines, especially for the price. At only $10, this is one of the cheapest on the site. The only problem I encountered, was it was actually a little too loud and obnoxious. All I did to fix it was tapped some of the symbols together so it doesn't make as much noise.
