This is a fun and jangly instrument that is an awesome deal. I looked and looked and although it's not made from the top of the line metals, it's got a great sound. On the down side, I think the "grip" area is still too thick, and could use more padding, but if you're not a pro, get this one.

I ordered this tambo before and receive the one pictured which has comfortable curved rubber grip. This time I received a different tambo with an uncomfortable straight handle made of cheap plastic. Booooo. Doesn't feel as natural in my wrist as the previous tambo I ordered. Still sounds decent tho.
Doesn't have a curved rubber grip as pictured. Instead has straight grip made of cheap plastic. Not very comfortable to hold.
Grip is cheap plastic as opposed to the more comfortable rubber grip I was expecting.
Still a very inexpensive tambo that gets the job done. Sounds alright.

Alright depending on use

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

This is a great deal for the money. Otherwise it sounds terrible. I would say it is great for younger kids to play with(Although it is pretty loud). Not for performing or recording. Very sturdy construction and I am sure it will last.

For a tambourine, this thing is pretty versatile. I mean you can even put it on your foot and play it. My guitarist can mnow use it! Give props to Pulse on this one. Nice, smooth sound, Indestructable, technological, a bargain! You just can't go wrong with this tambourine!

Just Awesome

By Chris Davis

from Undisclosed

My mom bought this for me and shipped it to my college. It was an excellent surprise, although I did wonder if she had thought about how annoying I might get..
It's a really nice tambourine, great sound and control. I'm not a rhythym player by any means, but it's nice to have the option, especially for recording.
It was a stupid deal of the day, so it was definitely worth it

Pulse Pro Tambourine

I got this tambourine a short while ago, and it was worth every penny. It is built extremely strong so you don't have to worry about breaking it unless you run over it with a tank. Its also VERY loud, almost too loud for recording but in the end I'd rather have it loud than not being loud enough.

Ask me a question

I couldn't have asked for a better instrument for the price and the purpose I had in mind. The tambourine fits my hand perfectly and I like the non-traditional shape. Would buy again, especially as a SDotD.
Good solid instrument. I wanted an inexpensive tambourine for a few tracks I'm doing. This fit the task.
I'm a guitar/bass guy so I don't have enough hands to gig with it, but I'm sure I could.
What's not to like about the SDotD?

I like it, it's great

By Chief fan 66

overall, it's great
I got it thinking the space in the middle would work to put my foot in there so I could use it tapping my foot while I play guitar---had to guess at the size of that space. My foot is a size 11 and it works even with a suede leather shoe on. The jingles in that area don't work then but there are plenty others. In fact they help to keep it on your foot. Great for a one man band or whatever.
It seems guite durable.
Seems to be very good quality, period.

Great Tambourines

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

These are great tambourines, especially for the price. At only $10, this is one of the cheapest on the site. The only problem I encountered, was it was actually a little too loud and obnoxious. All I did to fix it was tapped some of the symbols together so it doesn't make as much noise.

Hey These are definatly worth every pennie..I have had people begging me for these things. Because theirs fall apart long before my pulse pro tambourine. I have had this one for 5 months and the different brands that everyone uses fall apart in weeks .

Awesome Deal!

By Particle

It's extremely loud and has a really clean sound. It does almost everything you could want a tambourine to do. Both me and a friend compared it to some other ones we had and we both agreed that this one sounded better. If I ever lose this one I'll probably try and pick up the same kind again.

You get your money's worth

By Agape2you

from Columbia, PA

The Pulse Pro Tambourine is pro for the money, it's built well, light, but it's tone is terrible and dose not do well for it. Whatever you expect to get it meets it's expectation and I might get another one just for chuch.

60's jingle...not so much

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

I ordered this tambourine a few days ago, and when I put it out, I gave it a smack and rung out for about 5 seconds. Tone is terrible, but then again, for the price, you can't expect much. I guess it works for a solo recording artist who's trying to do some cheap percussion, but not for performing. For the price, you might as well buy it.

Pulse Pro Tambourine Black

By Barry Greenberg

from Saint Louis, MO

This is the tambourine you need if you want a workout. The tambourine is on the heavy side and you should have arms like Barry Bonds after a lively set.The "pro" in the title must mean "pro wrestler". The handle is inset, so the balance is a little different and I am still getting used to it.
It has plenty of jingles. The jingles are not brass, so they ring less.
Well built.
Great value for the price.

This item is wonderful. You can hear the jingles forever. The sound is so loud and for the price you can't beat it. It fits in your hand perfectly and it's lightweight. The symbols keep up with you, whether your shaking it, tappin' it or beating double time, the symbols ring right on key. If you don't have one, get one. No collection is complete with out it.

This thing is really nice. It's very solid and strong... really well built. I don't know all the technical stuff about what a good tambourine sounds like, but it sounds like a tambourine, so who cares. This thing is great and I love it.

I have been playing percussions every since I was a lad. This tamboirine is one of the best sounding and feeling skinless I have ever own. I purchase one for my group, now I need a few more. I only wish that they more colors than basic BLACK. I don't want anyone else to take mine. HAHA

Nice

This is a very nice tamborine. Easy to use and great sound. The only thing that could be better is the pins need to be stronger. They wear out and break after a short time. Overall it is great.
