Comments about Puresound Blasters Series 20-Strand Snare Wire:
While of little interest to most of your customers, a few might be interested in the use of the Blasters Series 20-strand wires in a cajon. They sound terrific and if they didn't no other attribute would matter. But in addition, mounting them in a homemade cajon is very convenient. I improvised an adjustable holder using a wooden crosspiece on each end, separated by threaded rods. When the wires are tensioned properly with the adjustment nuts, they can then be suspended, full length vertically (no cutting such a nice piece, please!)and made parallel to the inside surface of the 1/8 inch birtch plywood tapa. Mounting the wires using a wood screw in each center slot raises the wire from the mounting surface. Taking this into account, I found that an approximately 1/32 inch setback of the mounting boards from the cajon's front edge gives me a pleasing crisp sound with no extraneous jangle. Thanks for making my first canjon build so satisfying.

The second I put this on I was already excited by the product. It is of high quality. I STRONGLY recommend this to anyone and everyone.
Comments about Puresound Blasters Series 20-Strand Snare Wire:
These wires are great. I just put them on my Ludwig Supraphonic and they sound amazing. They are very sensitive, but my favorite part about them is their beautiful crack. They are perfect for the slightly tighter snare sound I prefer, but you can also loosen them to give you a nice, fatter rock sound.

i purchased these snares for my terrible snare on my kit and the snares that were on my drum were TERRIBLE once i put these on instantly it sounded amazing no ugly rattle when hit soft, it is very sensitive, and can get insanely loud it is one of the best out there and is worth the money i stongly recomend these.
Comments about Puresound Blasters Series 20-Strand Snare Wire:
Seriously, the single best thing you can do for your snare is to put these strands on there. I'm a fanatic about tuning and heads but had overlooked the importance of decent snare wires for many years. Not anymore. I was simply amazed at how much better my snare drum sounded after installing these.
Comments about Puresound Blasters Series 20-Strand Snare Wire:
Tried these on a 70's era supraphonic and was impressed. I couldn't believe that a set of snare wires could make such an improvement to the sound of a drum. Put these on without any tuning or new heads and it was like WOW!!! what a difference. Bought a set of Sonor delites about six months ago and was pleasantly surprised to find 20 strand puresound blasters on the snare drum. They have improved the sound of every snare I've tried them on. Good product, good price.
Comments about Puresound Blasters Series 20-Strand Snare Wire:
I've been using these snares for a while now on my 14x6.5" Yamaha Birch Custom Absolute snare. I normally tune the drum fairly tight, and these wires helped maintain the sensitivity that was lost with the stock Yamaha wires. I also found that they emphasized the "crispness" of the birch in the drum in comparison to the stock wires. For the price, they do a great job, and they do what they claim to do.
Comments about Puresound Blasters Series 20-Strand Snare Wire:
So, I got a set of these back about 6 months ago or so, and I've had good experience with them. When I'm playing, I'm rimshoting a lot of the time, or really hitting hard, and the blasters take my every stick hit and amplify it about 20 times the actual sound. They give you a good crack and the cut to get through those live unmic'd settings. That being said, if you're looking for something with sensitivity, these are not the wires for you. When you start playing too softly, they give a kind of ugly rattle that doesn't go away no matter how you tune the drum or dampen it. For my playing style, this hasn't been a drawback in the slightest, but for you it might. So keep that in mind if you get this.
Comments about Puresound Blasters Series 20-Strand Snare Wire:
These are the best snares I have ever added onto a snare. They can make an average snare drum sound 10X better and a pro sounding snare drum sound 10X as well. They are a little pricey but after you play them, you'll know how great they are. I am never going back to "run-of-the-mill" snares again.
Comments about Puresound Blasters Series 20-Strand Snare Wire:
Wow, I put these on a cheap snare that I found on a little entry kit in my guitarist's basement. When I put them on, it made that cheap snare sound like a $200+ snare. I was blown away. Very sensative when played tight, but loosen them up a little and they give you a fat kick to the stomach. Get these!
