I have been a Pro Mark 707 user for a long time. I tried this because they were very close to the same size of the 707s. I am sold! they rock and last a long time. I just found a new pair a sticked for me.

I have used Vic Firth, Vader and Pro Mark drum sticks. They are all good drum sticks. I prefer the Regal Tip for several reasons. They are very durable, well balanced and made of high quality hickory wood. This sounds like all the other drum sticks. What sets them apart from the others is their special lacquer they apply to the sticks. This lacquer increases the grip on the sticks by creating a tacky feel to the touch. This is what I appreciate the most, especially when I play in a high humidity environment such as that found during the summer months in Ohio. Buy some, you will not regret it.

Ive tried so many different brands of sticks in my drumming lifetime, and these surpass any others on the market! At first they may feel slippery, but let me tell you the grip is amazing once you get them on a kit! I can really relax my grip and play faster with the 5AX and 5BX, and on top of that, they are very durable. All regal tip sticks have a piece of lead at the but end of the stick for balance and are very consistent in quality! Grab a pair today!!

I have never found a better pair than the Regal Tip X Series. Yes, the reviewer below is correct, they do have an added length and wider shoulder, but it benefits greatly for me since I have butter fingers, and yes, they don't tire you out, because they are so light in weight, it's like playing with feathers but they can withstand a beating and they are very easy to control. These sticks are worth every penny.

Tried them all & keep coming back to Regal Tip. These new X models with their added length & wider shoulder just feel good to me. Typically I'm a 5A man using an occasional 5B when I need a little more mass, but these X models give me what I need without tiring me out. A kid in a store in CA said, "All you old guys like Regal Tip. How come?" Wisdom, my friend.
