I'm a metal drummer from the Twin Cities. I've been on a tight budget my whole life. When I broke a couple of my heads 3 or so years ago, I got these, just for the price. Turns out these things can take a beating like no others. 2 1/2 years later and they're still in tact. They're still in a pretty decent condition, probably another year of life or so. The sound that goes along with these is amazing. They can make any set sound twice as good as it does now. I'd highly recommend these heads to anyone, beginner or professional.

I got these heads last winter. They were a definate improvement from my last set, but still nothing special. I'll be soon replacing them with Evans EC2 clear batter heads. They sound a bit too bright and have a little bit too much attack for my style of playing (death metal). Moral of the story, these heads are decent for a beginning to intermediate, or even an advanced rock player. But if you play more agressive metal, you may want something better.

good toms bad snare

By Seatopians Drummer

from Westerville, Ohio

Comments about Remo Ambassador Drumhead ProPack:

these heads for the toms are excellent. if your a beginner drummer and still hav the original heads that came with the drumset then these are great. they really made my drums sound better. the only problem i had was with the snare head. for some reason after about a week it was completely dented and caved down about 2 inches in the middle. so i bought a remo powerstroke 3 snare head and that is amazing. but these heads are great for the toms

Great for Rock

Comments about Remo Ambassador Drumhead ProPack:

I put these heads on a old plywood set of TKO drums that I play in the garage. They really give the toms depth without much ringing. The price was right for the practice set in the garage. These will last me along time even with the heavy hits. They were also easy to tune.

remo heads

Comments about Remo Ambassador Drumhead ProPack:

So I just got these heads today and let me say...they're pretty damn good. It took a while to get the tone I wanted out of the toms but once I did I was very pleased. Man does my snare sound good...it has a nice crack to it with just enough ring. The only disappointment was the floor tom a little dull sounding, but I'm sure once I'm done messing with it it will turn out good. overall pretty good. Great buy.

Makes Any Drum Set Sound Good

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

Comments about Remo Ambassador Drumhead ProPack:

My buddies brother purchased these heads after his bass drum head ripped, this was a generic drum set called ACCLAIM, when I came over to try them out, wow!!! Man his sound a million times better (okay maybe I?m over exaggerating) but they sounded that good. They make a generic drum set sound like the top of the line set. The only thing I don?t like about the heads is that the coated snare starts to come off.

Comments about Remo Ambassador Drumhead ProPack:

These heads are great.I purchased a Ludwig Accent set and the stock heads were decent, but lack punch. I purchased these and the drums sound like gunshots going off right by my head. Will buy again. And again. And again.

Comments about Remo Ambassador Drumhead ProPack:

I got the heads several days ago. Although they aren't tuned, the still sound great. They get white marks on them easlily when you hit them, but I have heard from my friend (who recomended them to me) they last REALLY long.
