These heads r good but I couldn't get the same tone out of these like I could out of a pinstripe head. Just wasn't deep enough for me but these heads would be great for a jazz drummer.

These are now my heads and I change them out about every 3 months. Will continue until something better comes around. I used to be a clear pin stripe player. Not anymore.

ugh. these sounded decent at first, but you had to tune the resos really tight otherwie they sounded like paper with a tune. now they just sound like flat out paper. don't bother buying these, go with the ebony pinstripes, or the clear pinstipes, or any other remo heads in general. because, IMHO, no matter how bad these were, remo is still on top
only because it came with a so called "free" snare head

These drum heads are GREAT!!!!! The heads are extremely durable. I have had mine well over 6 months now and they almost sound the same as the day i got them. They give a deep sound that i was looking for. and the emperor x snare head is AMAZING!!!!! I am only going to get those from now on!

I got this head pack today and the first thing I noticed when I took them out is how sturdy and solid the suedes felt. I put them on my toms and actually didn't have to tune very tight to get the sound I wanted from them. They have a nice deep tone to them. They feel strong playing them too. Time will tell if they can hold up to the beating, but if my single-ply remos could last over a year I think these will last even longer.
